Departing for a trip can either be one of the most stressful periods of someone’s life, a super-exciting time for others, and even a laughable situation for a few.

Depending on the type of person you are, certain things will get to you during your departing flight.

While many minds are usually on the destination, what they are going to do when they get there, who will be there, how they will react, what the weather will be like, it is common for people to forget some of the simplest necessities.

Here is a list to ensure you have everything you need for your departure:

Passport: By far the most important item for any international flight. The words airport and passport should be synonymous and never forgotten while traveling. No passport = no travel.

Flight Itinery: Being on a flight is one thing, but knowing where you are going, what time you are arriving, and what time and where your connecting flight is, are a few facts you might need along the way. This is all contained in your flight itinery and is crucial when flying.

Suitcase Checklist: Making a checklist before traveling is a great way to ensure you don’t forget anything before you take off. Make sure you double check you have brought everything you need.

Foreign Currency: Always good to have some local cash on your hands when you touch base. You never know when it will come handy, and whether or not there will be opportunities to convert money when you arrive.
